The Madrid Missions team arrived safely back in Nashville around 7:30 Sunday evening. We all agreed that the trip was fantastic! We saw God at work in so many ways. Also, we left with the conviction that Madrid has much left to be accomplished. We sincerely appreciate all of your prayers and support. Thanks especially to FHBC for sending us on mission to Madrid.
Thanks so much for all your prayers! Our baseball game today was a great success! The weather was beautiful and we had a great turnout. The students really enjoyed their "American picnic." We leave tomorrow at 1:00 and should be back tomorrow night around 6:40. The trip has been a great experience. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers!
Today has been a whirlwind. Madrid is definitely a walking city!! Our legs and feet are slowly adjusting to all the miles that we are walking. We wish we had pedometers to track our steps!! We have spent the day with students for whom we have been praying for several weeks. They served as tour guides as we journeyed around the city. God is opening doors in our conversations to share about the hope that a relationship with Christ gives. Also, the students seem to be enjoying spending time with us. As we were parting ways with one particular student today, we asked when we would see her again. She replied, "Oh, I'm sure I'll be at everything!" Please pray that God will continue to use us as a light in the darkness. Pray that these new Spanish friends would take note of our relationships with each other and the joy in our lives. Pray that every interaction would have impact.
Life in Madrid is very busy! Yesterday we rode a tour bus around the town and prayed for the different areas and the people who frequent them.
After a long day of travel, the Madrid Missions team has arrived! We are most thankful that all of our luggage, including supplies, arrived with us. We journeyed to Tep's apartment trying out the bus and metro system while carrying all of our baggage (29 bags, 12 girls, you do the math!). The Syncronations Team hosted a delicious breakfast for us! We had team orientation after breakfast, and are looking forward to a bus tour/prayer walk this afternoon. Please pray for our team as we attempt to stay awake throughout the rest of the day so as to adapt to our new time zone. We are anxiously anticipating what God has in store for us as we minister to the students of Madrid.

Everyone made it to the airport on time, excited about what God has in store for the week in Spain. Pray for the missionaries in Spain as well as for the university students in Madrid.
Please pray for our mission team as they travel today: Angie Barnes, Missy Risher, Kaci Woolbright, Jenny Rice, Nicki Brooks, Kristie Young, Janet Leech, Stacy Murphree and Angie Stewart. Angie asked that we pray for their health as one team member, Missy, who is a little under the weather.
