Thank you for all of your prayers
Thank you for all of your prayers, they are truly being felt. On Friday, the team went to two new locations. One of which was a school of about 500. They had the chance to talk with the children, as well as, the teachers. About half of the children and all the teachers accepted Christ (Two of the teachers WERE Muslims).
Saturday night, the interpreters showed the Jesus film in a town called, Kisesa, to around 3,000 people. Half the crowd was saved. They are showing the movie again tonight in the town the team was in on Friday.
Sunday was the first worship service for the 5 new churches. All churches have pastors and leaders and Nicholas, a pastor who lives in the area, will be making sure the churches are provided for. Providing help, training and resources.
Today the team went further out along the shore of Lake Victoria. One team went to a village and the leaders of the village said to leave. “If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town” Matthew 10:14. So they left, finding out (about an hour later) that the leaders had called asking them to come back. They went back and started a Church in that very village. Today about 500 people accepted Christ and were saved. To date, 7 Churches have been started; 5 last week and 2 today.
The weather has been beautiful: high of 70, low of 60. No rain since last week.Pray for the team to stay healthy so that they can do what they have been called to do. Grace has had the Flu and is about over it. She is hoping to go out with the rest of the team tomorrow. Pray that she will wake up refreshed and feeling great.
